Mold, Lead, Toxic Materials and Asbestos Testing and Mitigation

Asbestos Testing and Removal:

STATE REQUIREMENTS FOR COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES

Testing is required for California DNR & OSHA no matter the date of construction. All commercial buildings with any material removal require testing other than wood, glass, fiberglass, or metal.

SECURING A STRUCTURE

If damage occurs in a commercial building, we use all proper PPE to effectively remove all materials that could be hazardous to employees' safety.

The intrusion of water into your structure can result in microbial growth (Mold) if not treated properly.

Common Equipment:

• HEPA Vacuum

• Air Scrubber

• Containment

• PPE

Mold Remediation Process:

VISUAL ASSESSMENT OR AIR SAMPLES

Once the source is stopped, the client can choose either a visual assessment or air samples to test for mold before beginning service.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

PPE is used to protect team members from breathing in mold or accidentally bringing mold spores with them.

HEPA VAC

We start with a HEPA VAC to suck up any loose mold spores that could be airborne. This also minimizes mold that needs to be treated.

TREATMENT

In some cases, the material must be removed entirely. Mold is then sealed or treated to eliminate all microbial growth.
